The Healing Justice Fund is a RJ/TJ - (Restorative Justice/Transformative Justice) mutual aid fund is for Miami communities to establish community based healing processes, specifically in social movement spaces. The program focuses on establishing an intervention team that will provide a safer space for people to heal.  Funding will be raised through community donations to ensure the quality of trained healers for people who would otherwise not have the access for resources to receive services.

Acknowledging that to break the cycle of abuse we must overcome systematic oppression with a system rooted in transformation. Healing is about restoring a community's path to self-determination. In order to overcome the harm we experience in our life. Through community outreach in the form of education, media outreach, training and healing services. Our intention is to build systems to help people take the initial steps in overcoming traumas. Working in our community to define healing and creating the systems of healing.

Love is a radical act in a world where survival is defined by hurt and pain.  The growth and transformation to transgress can be dark and painful. Therapy is essential in community care, unlearning harmful patterns and relearning healthier methods. Working with people is re-living and re-defining what selflessness and love really is through the creation of institutions. Institutions that can create and facilitate the training of other healers. Training has to be a circular process expanding the new patterns of everyday life rooted in truth, honesty and health.

The mutual aid fund is about repairing a disservice and recognizing often ignored spaces affecting ordinary people. To overcome the system of oppression, we pledge to root ourselves in our communities as Restorative Justice Peace Keepers.  Teaching people's ways they can take their power back, activating impactive narratives to get along better with one another. The purpose of this funding is available to the people, whose life cannot afford to trust the security of the Justice System. This fund will also provide the people with an opportunity to make decisions that support their freedoms of living and learning through trial and error allowing the people who live in the community to conduct their own mediation processes, addressing the needs of themselves free from danger or harm. As we base ourselves in the tradition that has liberation to overcome the systems that oppress and harm us we must make sure that we can overcome our oppressors. Our home must be strong so that our long march does not falter. Warriors are lovers and healers, rooted in the becoming and we cannot become anything without creating the conditions to uplift our communities.
