At Fanm Saj, we believe that when our people are developed, participate in their own healing and take action they gain the confidence, skills, and vision to lead change within and around them to building power. By investing in their growth, we’re creating a ripple effect that strengthens families, supports local development, and drives positive transformation for generations to come.
Over 500 Youth have been developed in our
Youth Leadership Program
Youth Leaders are developed in a cohort based Program to be healers and leaders, build a commitment to social justice, and a passion for building safer and healthy
communities.
Community Healing Activations Impacting over 5000 Community Members
Monthly Community-centered healing activations aimed at supporting individuals through the anxiety, uncertainty, and stress that often accompany politically charged times. We provided space for attendees to process their emotions, engage in restorative practices, and foster collective care.
Restorative Justice Ecosystem
Capacity Building
Since 2018, Fanm Saj has been working to interrupting cycles of violence by building a Restorative Justice Ecosystem grounded in the principles of Transformative Justice with the healing justice strategy, developing youth and adult allies to be leaders in their own communities, interrupt cycles of violence and provide tools, training and workshops for violence prevention and conflict resolution.

As a collective of artists and healers, we do this through expression, narrative shifting storytelling and collecting, Restorative Justice Peace Keeping, Trainings, Healing Circles, and Healing Justice Activations.
Our approach is grounded in the interconnectedness of Healing and Social Justice to regain our understanding of our sacred consciousness, in order to break generational trauma from slavery and white supremacy. We recognize that we are not only for the present generation but also for those who came before us but for future generations to come.
